January – the Monday-ist month of the year. Broke, bloated and totally partied out? Its time to grab the fleece PJs & avoid any social commitments ( brunch? 2. Bumble that shizz.
Just ’cause you’re at home with a face full of sudocreme and hair like a crow’s nest doesn’t mean you can’t be ‘social’ . January is the busiest month for online dating, so now’s the time to line up some dates or at the very least indulge in some harmless flirty texts.
3. Learn how to cook..
My heart says Justeat – my bank balance says – learn how to cook! Youtube is our new BFF when it comes to cooking ideas & recipes. We particularly L-O-V-E The Happy Pear’s channel so many easy, affordable and DAMN tasty recipes! Time to up your food game we think!
4. Give your Spotify a glam make over.
From gym playlists, to the perfect pre game tunes, now’s the time to de-clutter and re do your Spotify. Release your inner DJ and create a playlist for every type of situation. Chilled Sunday Mornings? How’s about some Kygo. Boy got you down? Dua Lipa to the rescue! Need some Monday morning sass – Oh hay Cardi B! This is the month to tackle this task, your future self will thank you!
We know , we know. It’s SUCH a “new year new me” cliche to run out and join a Gym on January 1st – BUT hear me out. At home yoga is free ( THANK YOU YOUTUBE ) and can be the perfect way to wind down after a stressful day of trying to avoid the left over celebrations and deal with fuzzy hair courtesy of our fabulous rain. Channels such as Yoga with Adriene offer a gorge selection of super easy to more advanced lessons. Or, what better way to #selfcare than with a face mask, bubble bath and a big fat G&T? Whatever floats your boat, January is the perfect ‘me’ month so indulge!
